He founded the Czech Ultrasound Society and the Czech Fetal Medicine Society and serves on several international boards. Prof. Valentina Tsibizova, MD, PhD

Prof. Graziano Clerici, MD, PhD
Graziano Clerici, MD, PhD, is a leading expert in prenatal medicine and perinatology. He graduated “cum laude” from the University of Perugia and specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Founder’s biographies
Prof. Gian Carlo Di Renzo is a distinguished Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, recognized worldwide for his leadership in women’s and children’s health. He served as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Perugia from 2004 to 2022 and founded the International School of Perinatal and Reproductive Medicine (PREIS) in Florence. He currently directs the Alliance for Global Women’s Medicine (GLOWM), FIGO’s educational platform, and holds academic appointments in the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
A prolific scholar, Prof. Di Renzo has authored more than 1,500 scientific papers, contributed to over 100 books, and has been an invited speaker at international congresses in more than 125 countries. He is also the founding editor of several influential journals in maternal-fetal medicine, most recently launching Maternal and Children’s Health in 2024.
His contributions have been honored by 34 scientific societies worldwide, with multiple honorary doctorates and fellowships, as well as prestigious awards including the 2023 Accademia dei Lincei Award for Gynecology and Medicine and the 2024 Baiocco d’Oro. Through decades of groundbreaking work, he has advanced maternal-fetal medicine globally with a commitment to science, education, and compassionate care.
Dr. Federica Capanna trained and practiced in Italy under the guidance of Professor Gian Carlo Di Renzo, before expanding her expertise in leading maternal-fetal medicine centers across Paris, Zurich, Geneva, and Lausanne. Today, as Director of GynOUS in Geneva, she is recognized for combining international experience with compassionate care for mothers and families.
Dr. Jonathan Baert trained and practiced in Switzerland, specializing in maternal-fetal medicine under the mentorship of renowned experts in Lausanne. As Director of GynOUS in Yverdon-les-Bains and practicing in Nyon, he is known for bringing together advanced expertise with attentive, supportive care for parents.
